Fraud Alert
A physician has alerted Physicians of East Texas to possible fraud.
Someone has been able to ''clone'' the physician caller ID and calling
patients. The phone call identifies itself as coming from the physician
office.
The caller is asking them to verify date of birth,
social security, Medicare number and other information. Social security
numbers are no longer part of claim information. Never give your number out over the phone. Patients should hang up and call the physician office.
